Neurodivergent Therapy in an Analytical-Structural Mode

A conversation about freeze after the Poznań tragedy and how analysis, structure, and data separation help a person move out of a state of existential threat.

me

Hey brain, I'm hanging. You're silent, not moving, as if you weren't here. What's happening?

brain

I entered freeze. I received a signal of existential threat (the Poznań tragedy). I connected your situation, the system, and prediction. Until you separate these, I assume: this could be about us.

me

But I analyzed the problem. I wrote a post, I understand the phenomenon. Why am I still stuck?

brain

A post is LOGIC. And I am waiting for a SIGNAL OF SAFETY.

Logic ≠ closing the risk loop.

I need to know: what is yours / what belongs to the system / what is prediction.

me

But I feel like this is about me. Like it's my future.

brain

You feel that because I generated it that way — out of a lack of separation. That person's profile was similar to yours at the category level, so my protective algorithm says: if similar, then potentially about us. This IS NOT a fact. It is defensive profiling.

me

So until I separate the data, you'll stay suspended?

brain

Yes. Safety mode requires clarity.

As long as I see chaos → freeze.

me

All right, let's do it. What is MINE here and now?

brain

Facts:

  • you function,
  • you have cognitive resources,
  • you have meta-awareness,
  • you detect overload,
  • you have systemic knowledge,
  • you have informational support,
  • your children are not in total dependence.

This is a DIFFERENT case. Objectively.

me

What belongs to the SYSTEM?

brain

The system is dysfunctional. A social care home is structural trauma. Caregivers in Poland are left without support. The tragedy was an effect of the system, not the 'nature of the world.' This is environmental risk, not your personal trajectory.

me

And what is FUTURE in your head — prediction?

brain

A simulation: 'What if one day it’s us?' Not a fact. Not a prophecy. Not a verdict. Just my attempt to protect us from the worst-case scenario.

me

So my here and now is objectively different from that case?

brain

Yes. It differs in all key parameters: awareness, resources, competencies, functioning, relationships, possibilities, autonomy, meta-analysis, buffer. This is a different world. This is not your future.

me

Then why didn't a therapist catch this?

brain

Because therapists often work in an emotional model. And you regulate through analysis, structure, and data separation. You do not need 'talking about feelings.' You need information to be operationalized.

me

So until I sort this out myself — nothing will help?

brain

Exactly. In this mode, regulation is primarily internal, not relational. I operate through algorithms, not through storytelling alone.

Only once you separate the layers can I return to action.

me

Okay. Now I see it. This isn't about me. It's the system. And projection is just your safety work.

brain

Yes. And now that this has been separated — I unlock the flow.

Closure

And this is neurodivergent therapy in practice:

  • analysis → regulation
  • separation → safety
  • structure → buffer
  • separating the layers → exit from freeze
  • “this isn’t about me” → restoration of action
